Exceptional Children's Services

In the Exceptional Children program at Northeast Elementary, a strategic approach  is employed to support students with disabilities to ensure that all their needs can be met.

In collaboration with parents, administrators, general education teachers, and other related service providers, and EC teachers work to meet the diverse learning needs of our students who qualify for special education services. With this team approach,  creative, well-written, and thorough Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities are created.   These IEPs outline  research-based, unique interventions, and strategies that best support the ongoing learning of our students and ensure that they are making progress towards their individualized goals.
